Hi, I just got my SAT scores back from earlier this month. The result was 1800. How can I improve this over the course of a few years? Is 2200+ a realistic goal?

wrong forum :D.

try the SAT/ACT one.

and yes, it is a realistic goal if you work hard.

2200+ is definitely plausible if you got a 1800 as a freshman. I wouldn't worry about it again until after sophomore year when, I guess, you can prep over the summer.

In my case, I was set with the math section, so I didn't do anything for that. For the writing section, I learned English grammar inside and out (as much as I could). For CR, I started memorizing the 500 most common SAT words given or something given by PR. I guess I could've read the New York Times to get my reading comp. up and to get material to write about on the essays. Those were my two weakest points.

its certainly possible. you'll probably get to at least a 2000-2100ish level by the time you're a junior just by learning stuff in school. like Sungchul said though, you shouldn't worry about it until the summer after junior year, and then just study some and you'll get your 2200+
