I am currently a high school senior and applied to around 8 schools this year including: Columbia University, SUNY Stony Brook, NYU, UNC Chapel Hill, NC State, Duke University and Johns Hopkins university. Of those, I was wailisted to NYU, Chapel Hill and NC State and accepted by SBU (and vtech but i dont want to go there). Now. As I am reading more and more about SBU im wanting less and less to go there. I'm still waiting to find out about NYU but i am an out state student originally from NY and would like to be back in NY. So here's the question,

Can I still apply to Bing? The more I read about it the more I like and I would like to find out if I still can. I intend to major in Biology.

According to SUNY’s web site, the BS in bio program is closed at Bing, as well as at SBU. It’s open at Albany, Geneseo, Plattsburgh and several others. You could always apply to one of those and then transfer.

Yea, I saw that on the site. But you know how sometimes, schools will make exceptions? I did see on some thread that SBU was allowing them to apply late. I also heard of something known as “clearing” but I have no idea if that applies to Bing or simply the school I saw it on when I googled it. I plan to call tommorow to find out a course of action. I might just end up going to SBU and transferring. I guess I won’t know until I actually visit the school and decide if i like it…lol
