<p>Are there any recommendations on good books for PDEs? Something that will make them very clear with a good amount of worked examples or things of the sort.</p>

<p>I haven’t used it so I can’t vouch for it personally, but the undergraduate course on PDEs at my school uses the book Partial Differential Equations: An Introduction by Strauss. Looking at the first few pages that Amazon lets me look at, the book doesn’t look like a technical math major book (it isn’t definition-theorem-proof the whole way through).</p>
<p>Check the reviews on amazon before you buy though. I didn’t for one of the books I bought, and although it has almost all 5 star reviews it is definitely not an introductory book, the reviews will mention this kind of stuff usually.</p>
