<p>The current faculty are Aries, Demorest, Hart, Olver, Raskin, Sanderson, Schulkind, Turgeon, Baird, Valdesolo, and Halgin.</p>
<p>You should very quickly skim their course reviews. </p>
<p>There were ~52 Psychology majors from last year’s graduating class, and psych has consistently been among the most popular majors at Amherst. Majors will have accumulated substantial research and writing experience by the time they graduate, and the classes demand that you think critically and creatively.</p>
<p>I’ve gotten positive feedback from everyone I know who’s taken Intro Psych, and I know majors who are very happy about their choice. If you’re remotely curious, consider exploring the department.</p>
