A Capella Groups?

I went to this dartmouth direct program and heard this AMAZING A Capella group (I'd never heard A Capella before) and got hooked on A Capella. So I'm wondering how the A Capella groups are at this school. Can anyone offer some picture of the "A Capella scene"?

Hey!

I'm actually in an a-capella group @ McGill called Tonal Ecstasy (TX)
There are five or so groups on campus, all co-ed and one is all female. WE NEED AN ALL MALE GROUP! But anyway, heres some of my personal descriptions:

Effusion- this group is amazing! Made up mostly of jazz singers, they have a lot of soul and do mostly jazzy smooth songs, not the typical collegiate a-capella group but still really good! they won best in northeast last yr.

Tonal Ecstasy (TX)- this is a group I'm a member of. Very collegiate type, we do all types of songs from rock and pop to jazz standards. we're a really social group and love to get together and have a good time and sing. we take ourselves seriously, but not too serious.
won second place in new england finals last year.

Soulstice- smaller group, co-ed. collegiate as well, do a lot of upbeat songs, and a lot of holiday songs christmas time.

Simply Sweetly- All female group- they sing mostly classical stuff, but it varies. havn't really seen much of them.

theres an a-capella group on campus through the hillel as well. ( jewish themed )
