An interesting twist (how things have changed):

not much interesting about it.

Thats cool though the bias in favour of Alito is obvious. The question is though- at the end of the day- Alito may have been this ideal person yadda yadda but he still was the one that opposed that abortion ruling as a judge and that is something you just cannot overlook. As honest and innocent he may be portrayed- he knows his politics and he knows to market himself. Do you really believe that he would join an association discriminating against women and races (i think thats right) just to promote ROTC on campus? He ain't stupid- he should've known what he was joining.

this is clearly just another piece of republican propaganda. we can all attest that Alito is a good human being. that is not what is being debated. the fact that he had any affiliation to a group that had those racist views is whats at hand. even if he had nothing to do with those remarks/views, he still was a part of the group. clearly Senator Kennedy despises Alito which is obvious, but that question HAS to be asked and investigated. you never know, maybe the guy actually felt that way at the time. if you do a little digging, maybe something will come up.

i like Alito and i think hes an excellent candidate but i just dont see any purpose or motive in all of the democrat bashing that has gone on over the past week. i hope you all realize that if this was an extremely left candidate, faced up against a drastic right winger, we would be in the same situation just flipped around.
