A Confused Student Writing His Short Answer

<p>Hi guys :)</p>

<p>Well, I'm pretty sure this topic has been asked too many times but I was wondering for the Common App short answer.....</p>

<p>What exactly does it show the adcoms that is different from the personal essay?</p>

<p>What approach do you take on the short answer? Do you simply describe the activity and how it has impacted you OR do you make it poetic/metaphorical?</p>

<p>Lastly, how important is this in the admissions decision?</p>

<p>Do whatever you want as long as your answer describes the activity s importance or impact on you. I don’t see why this would be weighted much less that the essay.</p>
