<p>1) Are the dorms heated during winter? I just want to know since they don't allow personal heaters into the dorms.</p>
<p>2) This one is a bit weird but...are there any "geniuses" at UChicago? I mean people who are just naturally brilliant and smart? I know it's a strange question but an honest answer would be appreciated.</p>

<p>Let it be known that the University knows how to heat a building darn well. Relax. Winter is under control, and there will be fireplaces roaring in the Reynolds Club.</p>
<p>I would say that most, if not all, students I’ve met here have a natural gift for academics. Some might have come from backgrounds that cultivated it more than others, but brains are not in short supply. The brightest people I know here do a great job of playing down their smarts in the right ways, though-- in my experience they tend to hide out on club sports teams and in fraternities.</p>
