Hey there, I'm currently an undergraduate freshman attending community college and my main aspiration is going to pharmacy school, but I'm planning on falling back on chemistry as my back-up plan. I know that many pharmacy students recommend that you go on to get your bachelor's degree and even master's degree if you don't get accept the first time around, but should I really consider getting the PhD if I don't get accepted after that point? I hear that, in this economy, a Master's in Chem. is more preferrable than a PhD in the subject, but will just stopping at the Master's degree if I have not been admitted into pharmacy school kill what would otherwise be my last chances of getting in that I would have if I were to continue on with my PhD?
