A couple questions

1)how much does midyear report matter(grade 12 first semester mark)?I am sort of disappointed because i have a much higher mark (6 to 7 percent overall) right now then in grade 11, but my friend told me grade 12 marks don't really matter.

2)Ben jones on the mit forum said a 750 on the SATI (CR,math,or writing i think) is not that much different from a 800,is that true for caltech as well?

3)Is it more helpful for my application if i've only been in an English speaking country for less than 5 years yet scored a 750+ on CR and SATII literature?I am guessing not much because probably lots of people who are applying have that...

750+ on CR and SATII LIT?

thats FREAKING GOOD!

1) Good 12th year grades help a lot, especially if they are higher than before.

2) I agree with Ben J. on this. Keep the 750, don't worry about it.

3) Yes, that helps a lot. Shows you learned the language quickly and adapt well. Make sure to include those scores :)
