<p>Poems are generally frowned upon. They want to see that you can clearly express your ideas in a solid paragraph. I wouldn’t take the risk if I were you.</p>
<p>I;d say only if it’s a really good poem, and you are interested in poetry/writing. If you’re writing in poem form just for the sake of being different, not a good idea. Applications aren’t about TRYING to be different, they’re about being yourself, which is (hopefully) naturally different.</p>
