Hello! So I decided to apply to William & Mary early decision quite some time ago, but with the deadline a few days away I still have a few questions and am freaking out just a bit. I would greatly appreciate any input, thank you!

Does my transcript need to be sent separately from the common app or is it included in the school forms portion?

Is the deadline for the school forms the same as the deadline for the rest of the application?

If I send my SAT scores electronically now, will they be received by the Nov 1st deadline? If not, will my application still be considered for ED or will it be deffered?

I believe it’s impossible to make the ED deadline at this point. sry bud. You should have had everything sent a while ago, and SAT scores take at least a week to be received by a college.

The November 1 ED deadline is a postmark deadline for all required materials (application, supplement, fee, transcript/school forms, standardized test scores). So your application (which we’re guessing you’re submitting online) needs to be submitted by November 1 and your transcript needs to be sent by November 1. Some schools can send transcripts electronically, some cannot. Your counselor can tell you which method your school uses but if they postmark your transcript by November 1 that is fine.

You need to submit your scores ASAP. They will not arrive by November 1 at this point but should arrive in 7-10 business days. We will accept them if they come in after the deadline but you need to send them immediately.

We are generally very flexible. If you submit/send/postmark all required materials by the deadline we will consider your application even if they arrive shortly after the deadline.

In short you can still apply but you need to get everything sent/postmarked by Tuesday.

ok, I’ve sent my scores and sending everything else by Tuesday shouldn’t be a problem. Thank you so much for your response, W&M’s presence on College Confidential has been extremely helpful in this process!
