A Few Question about ChemE

Hello all. I'm currently a Community College student who is interested in gathering some information on Chemical Engineering. Some questions I have include:

Would choosing one concentration of Chemical Engineering over another will affect the jobs I'm eligible to get? I personally would like to go into the Biomanufactoring concentration in my school, but I was wondering if I could still get a job in a non-biomanufacturing-related industry if I were to choose this concentration.

What is the difference between a Master's in Engineering and a PhD in Engineering? A second goal that I possess is to engage in my own, original research. My ultimate goal is to create new drugs to go on the market and I suspect that some research experience can help me achieve my goals. With that being said, would a Master's degree be sufficient enough to accomplish this goal? Or should I go all the way and get me a PhD?

Finally, can I use my graduate research as a means to start my own small pharmaceutical business? I must admit that I'm interested in using entrepreneurship to accomplish my drug-design goals as well. Will I be allowed to use my research to achieve these end is the question, though...

While you could use ChemE for drug manufacturing/design I’d suggest you major in something along the lines of chemistry, pharmacology, or biochemistry.
