If you have a documented disability then you might qualify for special housing. Other than that, freshmen live in freshmen housing.

Obstinate-
I am totally with you, buddy!!
High school can just get so dramatic, depressing, and slow. Now, this is not to say that I haven't been enjoying it, GoingToSpaceBRB, I have...it's just that I feel my maturity level is eons above that of @ least 95% of my class. I CANNOT WAIT for Dec., 2008, because I want to go to a school where everybody understands that there is a reason for being alive, that there's more to life than just partying it up and gossiping about who's with who and crap.
That's actually one of the main reasons why I applied to a boarding school this year-because I'm done waiting and I want to make a difference NOW. And I'm so elated because I got in with full financial aid!
Anyway-
I'm a sophomore as well, and I just want to say that I am SO GLAD to find peers with the same passion that I have to succeed/make a difference, and attend an a-mazing school.

Keep on being awesome!!
Hopefully some of us will bump into each other on campus in a few years!
Who knows? : )

To the OP,
if your PSAT is 1560/1600, you're doing great. If it's 1560/2400 then you need to bring it up considerably to be competitive at Brown. See this link for some facts and figures about Brown. Brown Admission: Facts & Figures
