A few Questions!

I am a transfer student and have some questions.

Advisor info. What do I put here? A counselor? I go to a Community college and there aren't counselor's assigned. You can meet with whoever is available at the time. I don't know any of them at all. The only advisor I am in contact with is my Phi Theta Kappa honor society advisor.

SAT scores and AP scores. I'll be transferring with Junior status. Am I required to submit these? Some schools clearly state they don't want SAT scores. Others don't state anything. None say anything about AP scores. What about HS grades? I'm not too proud of HS scores and would avoid putting these if possible. Also, many universities don't email back so I can't ask them.

Thanks a bunch.

Honestly. Almost 400 views and nothing? Even if you’re not a transfer, I’m sure there is a section for advisor info for freshmen.

Meet with an advisor at the college and ask if you can use his/her name as the advisor. Haven’t you met with anyone consistently?

SAT and AP scores may or may not be requested by the receiving college. For most universities, they don’t typically ask for SAT and AP scores from Transfers, but again, it depends on the receiving university.

Thanks aunt bea.

I haven’t met with anyone consistently. Usually I just do a walk in appointment with whoever is available to ask questions about classes and stuff.
