A followup on my previous long thread

I want to thank everyone who responded to my previous thread and who tried to help me. I have decided to just graduate and I will NOT pursue a second bachelor's for now, as I am burned out from school. I guess I got burned out because I took a lot of classes at once, and everything just became so boring and so routine that all of the information started blending together, and I just could not pay attention in class anymore, and subsequently my grades slipped.

I do have a job related to the biology field, and it does pay well for the hours I'm working. I do plan to pursue graduate work in another field, and this job is setting me up well for that, but probably not for another year, and I will probably try to pursue that part time after I get the undergraduate prerequisites done. For now, I think I just need to get some experience before trying graduate school.

Once again, thank you parents for your assistance, and I would appreciate any input you can provide.

Thanks for the follow up. If it helps any, I remember having many of the same feelings as I veered towards graduation many years ago...and I had majored in something I loved! Facing the "real world" for the first time can be frightening and confusing but if you go forward with confidence, you will, I am sure, do just fine. Best of luck!!!

bump....Please comment, parents! Thanks!

I'm sorry, I'm confused: what are you looking for input on? Your decision sounds quite reasonable, especially since you have a job that's related to your biology degree.
