I am 0.5 off of completing my A-G requirements. Would CSU’s still accept me? My SAT score is not bad, averaging at 1300.
What do you mean by “0.5 off”? Which a-g requirement is missing or incomplete?
In some cases, there are alternate ways of partially or completely fulfilling some of the a-g requirements. See https://www.calstate.edu/sas/documents/admissionhandbook.pdf starting at page 14.
if you mean a semester off - then no, CSUs and UCs are really firm about their required courses. If you want to go to a CSU, you have to meet them all. As the link above shows, It isn’t too late, there are several ways to meet the requirement, even this late in the year. Your application will need to reflect your plan to do so or you WILL be rejected.
Curiously, UNR, Boise State and some other OOS schools are much more flexible about the courses you took in HS.
Not sure of your grades or interests but, they offer CA residents with solid GPA/SAT a CSU competitive tuition through the WUE program… something to think about.
