Thought the Service Academy parents would enjoy this clip from Jon Stewart and Comedy Central. It's particularly ironic for me since I have a son at West Point and a daughter who just finished her freshman year at Cal-Berkeley. Thank G-d she's still a political moderate and hasn't joined Code Pink. :) And, actually, Cal has a very active ROTC program.

It's hard to believe that wasn't all scripted. Do those pinkies really stand out there, proclaiming their "rights"?--who do they think defends them?--They need to lay off the pink Kool-aid if you ask me.

Those people are real. I'm surprised that the ROTC has servived there. I'm glad it has, but still surprised. UC Berkeley is the home campus of the NROTC battalion for all of Northern California. Some of their "cross-town affiliated" schools are hours away.

Makes me glad I'm not from around there! I did appreciate his "Wouldn't it be great if there was an organization to defend those freedoms?" comment.

If you disagree with the war: fine
If you disagree with the military: I think you are stupid, but whatever..

If you try to stop people from willingly joining the military and claim you are only exercising your right to free speech: you are an idiotic hypocrite.
