A Junior's chances.. am I good enough?

Didn't want to bring up an old thread but I wanted to get chances on a few more schools I am considering.
(Junior in HS)

9-11 GPA: 3.7 (Bad frosh year)
10-11 GPA: 4.31
UC GPA: 4.3
Class rank: Top 15-25%
ACT: 30
1st term junior gpa: 4.74
Expecting all As and maybe 1 or 2 Bs the rest of the year

(Years reflect senior year too)

-Varsity Soccer (4 years) – Captain (1 year)
4X Varsity Letterman
MVP this year
-Indoor Soccer Intramural (2 years)
-Investments Club (3 years) – President
-Student Council (4 years)
-Internship at Advertising Company (Summer 2006)
-Job at doctors office (2 years)
-Tutoring (1-2hrs/week)
-Web design business (4 years)
-About 100hrs volunteer work (community awareness)
-Snowboarding (4 years) (No awards or anything but a serious hobby. I have been trying to get the school to arrange trips every couple of weeks but no luck yet.)

Essays and recs. will be awsome.
I may try to get an interview at USC next year.

Currently I am taking 2 AP classes, 2 honors classes, and 1 college class (all As 1st term). Senior schedule next year will be rigorous. Will complete 4-6 AP classes before graduation.

any? (10 chars)

bump (10 chars)

Unless you bring your ACT/SAT score up:

USC (#1 choice) - OK chance
NYU - semi-decent chance
NYU (Stern) - no chance
Pepperdine - good chance
UCB & UCLA (OOS) - slim chance
Carnegie Mellon-slim chance
Carnegie Mellon (Tepper)-slim chance
Loyola Marymount -in
Claremont Mckenna-slim chance
Pomona-slim chance

I think you have a pretty good shot at all of those school becuase you have some pretty good ecs. I would just say make sure you get all A's the rest of the year to bring up your GPA and if possible, try to take the ACT/SAT again if you can. Otherwise, good luck!

Thank you both for your input. I appreciate it. Everyone agree with the above predictions?

aiyah. we cant gauge ur application unless your gpa is set. ur gpa can plummet for all we know so dont make predictions urself, give us the real deal. outside my rant, lets look into your app. Its obvious your looking in the business field. Tepper, Marshall, Stern, Pre business economics at UCLA, Haas are all the cream of the crop for business schools outside of Wharton, Sloan, Ross. Everyone will apply there with great stats, great gpas. You will need a 2150ish to be competitive. if u can maintain a 3.8 uw, with ur business/internship, and great essays those schools can really materialize and be realities for u. but ur SAT or ACT must improve alot.

USC (#1 choice) - Match
NYU - Match
NYU (Stern) - Slight Reach
Carnegie Mellon - Match
Carnegie Mellon (Tepper) - Slight Reach

sox08:

wat u get for ur APs and SAT IIs

well i didnt take any AP classes soph. year because they only offer 1 (AP world history) and the class was full so i will be taking 2 tests this year. I didn't take SAT 2s yet but will prob. take US History and a math.
