A Little Experiment - My Chances...

Hi,
I've been reading a lot of "What are my chances at so-and-so" and so I thought it would be interesting if I conducted a little experiment. I've already been accepted to a college and have been attending for one year. I'm wondering how accurate predictions on here are, so if anyone is interested, I would like you all to guess which colleges I was admitted to. The colleges I applied for are:
1. Marshall University (WV)
2. West Virginia University
3. University of Pittsburgh
4. University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
5. Wake Forest University
6. Washington University in St. Louis
7. Duke University
8. Princeton University
9. Harvard College

For each one, guess whether I was a) rejected, b) wait-listed, c) accepted, or d) accepted with a non-need based scholarship.

After a while, I'll post where I really got in.

So here are my stats:

SAT II: 790 Math IIC, 750 Literature, 770 Chemistry

RECOMMENDATIONS -
Positive, but nothing out-of-the-ordinary.

Princeton University - rejected

Harvard College - wait listed

Hm kind of random guesses?

I concur with the above post ^^^

Oops. I forgot to guess that you were offered merit money at Marshall, WVU, Pitt, UNC, and Wake Forest.

Scholarships at Marshall, WVU, Pitt and Wake. I forgot to put that on my post too. Since there are no need based at Princeton and Harvard, those are easy to figure out!

hmmmmm

waitlisted at one of H and P and rejected at the other, then in at all the rest

scholarship to WVU, marshall, and pitt

Marshall University (WV) A

West Virginia University A

University of Pittsburgh A

University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill A

Wake Forest University A

Washington University in St. Louis A

Duke University A

Princeton University R

Harvard College A

Marshall University (WV) - scholarship

West Virginia University - scholarship

University of Pittsburgh - scholarship

University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill - accepted partial scholarship

Wake Forest University - partial scholarship

Washington University in St. Louis - waitlisted (they know you arent coming)

Duke University - accepted

Princeton University waitlisted

Harvard College - rejected

You are going to Duke or got off the waitlist at Princeton.

Had I seen you on chances before I would have told you to lose some safeties and add more slight reaches like Dartmouth, PEnn, and Brown, so you would have more choices than just Duke.

Accepted at all but Princeton (rejected).

ur gonna take the new SAT right, cause Wake doesnt accept ACT and only wants the new SAT now

ooo haha sry my bad idk too tired to doi this

Not so sure about the new SAT thing with Wake...most schools out there are taking the best of the new or the old SAT and not necessarily requiring the new one...you might want to check on that. The ACT thing still is kind of interesting to me since they are one of like only two schools nationwide that don't interchange the two.

i did, i called the office friday, they thought i spoke funny cause im from NY...ha, southerners make me laugh!
