A Little Help/Advice Making a Final Major Selection?

Hello CC,

I am looking for advice, opinions, and any wisdom anyone would be willing to impart on me. Currently I am coming to the end of my Freshman year and feeling the pressure to select my major; however, I am at a crossroads in my selecting.

I have my interests narrowed down to Physics, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Cognitive Science, and Psychology. I have a very strong interest in the sciences and I know I want to go to medical school once I graduate. I'm not trying to pick my degree based on what would prepare me best, rather what I would enjoy the most. I believe I would derive fairly similar levels of enjoyment out of all of these degrees but I am looking for insight from people with:

Opinions on the Future of the Fields
Experience in the Fields
General Opinions of the Fields
Future Employability of the Fields (assuming I don't go to medical school)

If you went into one of these degrees or fields, why? Would you do it again? If not, what would you choose?

I want to gather all of the information and opinions I can before I make my selection, so anything anyone could offer is very much appreciated. Thank you!
