A little help in Choosing

<p>I've gotten into several colleges and I wish to be a graphic design/digital media major. Unfortunately, I have no clue about the programs that they each offer. For all I know, I might pick one and arrive to find myself using machines running windows 98 with paint. Could you please help me? Maybe provide a source which might make my decision a bit easier.

<p>Get the course catalogs for each school and check out what they are offering. You'll quickly spot the differences in focus, breadth and depth.</p>

<p>Check out the schools offerings on line, then go to visit the schools that are most appealing. Make appointments with the departments that you are interested in and the professors of courses you are interested in taking. Spend a day or two on each campus--wander in to the facilities you are interested in using and talk to the students who are there, ask what they are doing/using/learning etc. Sit in on classes, go through the dorms etc.</p>
