A month to prepare?!?!

So from this day, in exactly 1 month, I'll be taking my first ever SAT. I'm really nervous but at the same time I feel like I can do it. I have many resources to study from but then again, school starts soon. Do you guys think I can prepare enough to ATLEAST land me a 2000 point margin? My score right now roughly ranges from 1600-1800. Any advice for schedules and such? Thanks so much guys, and the best of luck to anybody else taking it on that day!

Dude! I’m in the same boat! I’m in the low 1800’s. I want to hit a 2,000. For some reason my weak area is reading, although I used to be a very avid reader and reading used to be my strongest section. Math is second weakest. My writing scores are in low 700’s. If someone could help me and lotus out. It would be greatly appreciated. (:

Also any advice on keeping a certain mindset or just plain advice would be nice. (:

I’m taking it too. Advice from people who wrote the december SAT will be highly welcomed.

same, I’m hoping to break 2000, 1900+ really would be good for my first try. Going for 2100+ overall eventually.

I did my first SAT in the november sitting. I had 1 month (well, more like 5 weeks) to prepare, because i had done the subject tests on october. I bought the barron’s, used it for vocab mainly, the BB (very good for practice tests) and the barron’s 2400, which as very nice advices concerning test taking strategies.

What was your score?

770 math, 690 writing, 660 critical reading, with an 8 on the essay. I’m an international student btw
