Other stuff
- Volunteered with my brother, a peace corps volunteer, teaching English for a little over three weeks in a rural Costa Rican village. It wasn't through any 'program', I just did it with my brother who was already stationed there.

-Volunteered with Student Conservation Association to preserve Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest. Poplar Forest was one of his estates, similar to Monticello (that building on the back of the nickel). Also rebuilt a historically accurate curtiledge fence that will remain as a permanent exhibit there.

-Heavily involved with Numismatics (coins and currency). I have done several lectures at local coin clubs and conventions.

-I work for a nationally recognized dealer and expert on Obsolete Currency. I work at cataloging, working as a representative at coin shows and auctions. In the past I have attended auctions and placed bids on his behalf upwards of $10,000. He trusts me with his checkbook.

Recommendations: Absolutely FANTASTIC. I read some of them myself. Others I am sure will be great. Two are from teachers, one is from my employer, another is from a curator of a historical society who taught me at a seminar.

Senior Year Course Loud: Hardest schedule of anyone in my grade.
- I am enrolled in 11 classes, which includes a Student Initiated Research project on the effects of a non-centralized paper currency on the economy and society of 19th century America.

I'll chance you back if you post here.

The only school I know on your list is NYU =high match to VERY low reach

low chance for W&M. They accpet lots of people from Virginia so it makes it hard. the last 5 schools should be easy for you, as with UNC.

depending on how good your interview and how much Duke cares about legacies will determine whether or not you get in to Duke

all the stuff you do with coins is pretty impressive. Make sure you include that in your essays as that is a unique skill not seen in many students

Can anyone else help me out?

Reach - duke UVA unc
match - rest
safety - uvm
plz chance back I can’t post link because I’m on phone.
