A new sub-forum!

Looks like this sub-forum was just created. Thank you to the moderators!

I couldn't resist being the first one to post here. :)

Great new forum! I am not a current prep school parent, but have put two kids through prep school (one of whom attended more than one.....) and am available to answer questions or make suggestions.

Agree with Brooklyn.
I'm third

Go fourth...

...I think this will become my primary CC hangout when I log-in.

Not me....I will always go to the "Chances" thread, as that is the one with the most accurate information ;)

I very much enjoy the input from the young ones in the midst of their application process, or in the thick of things, because one thing I am looking for in this discussion board is help seeing through the eyes of my daughter. However, it is very nice to have a thread that is directed towards the parents... a place for moral support, etc.

I'm happy to have a place to vent...I've been a lurker since January. Now that we're packing and our daughter will be on the opposite coast, reality is hitting hard. I know I'll feel better once we're on campus and see what a great opportunity this is.
I'm glad I didn't see all those "chances" threads when my daughter was applying. In our case, it was best not to know how difficult the whole process is.

And I'll go out on a limb and say that, in addition to not knowing more about the process through chances threads, it was even better still for you not to be grossly misinformed and misguided about how difficult the whole process was and what your daughter's chances were.

9th! NNIIIIIICCCCE!

Haven't been on here for quite some time. I've been busy packing up baseballson for school!

This is cozy little spot!

Just found this site. Felt overrun on the regular CC.
