^My best friend is the person in the video

I'm sorry, but that just wasn't very entertaining.

What is school supposed to be? I have never found school entertaining, either. Rarely does anything happen. That should be the next project: make a documentary about a real high school, where things are normal and not glorified as in the Hollywood set movies.

I've dreamed of doing that profiling 6 high school students, it would be called "American High School"
The Six Kids:
A. Ms Perfection (Similar to us, wants to go to an ivy league school)
B. Mr. Football Jock
C. Ms. Cheerleader (B and C are dating of course)
D. Mr. Punk Rock/ F*** All Authority
E. Ms. Gothic
F. Mr. Art Student
Six Cameras, Six Lives, an American High School

G. Mr Average
H. Ms Average
I. Ms Sporty
J. Mr Minority
And D and E could be mixed in as nearly the same perspective.

truetruetrue

Has MTV does a

True Life: I want to get into an Ivy.

That would be an awesome episode imho

Yeah, I agree, I would watch

Do all these stereotypes really exist at your school? I can't think of really any cheerleaders dating football players right now, and a lot of the football players at my school don't fit the "dumb jock" bill (though some do lol). Our star senior quarterback dates a junior softball player, is FCA co-captain, and takes a lot of AP classes and is pretty smart. And our homecoming queen is a cheerleader, but rather dates a track/cross country runner who is definitely not jockish at all. They are both in tons of AP classes, both really smart and really funny and not in anyway skankish like stereotypical cheerleader and boyfriend.

I guess we do have stereotypical cheerleaders and football players, but they generally suck at what they do and do not have good reputations at all.

I would definitely watch that True Life!

I have all those people described at my school. The Quarterback is going out with a cheeleader.

K. Ms. I Have A Serious Issue (anorexic, cutting, etc.)

Those stereotypes aren't rampant in my school. The cheerleaders I know are smart and don't date football players.

lol a True Life for getting into ivies would be nice...maybe they could do a Made with an admissions councilor instead of a coach or trainer for a person who wants to get into an ivy-type school...

And then the person shouldn't get in...

What's weird is that a cheerleader in my school also had a cutting problem. Although, I'm one of maybe no more than five people that know about it.

now everyone that frequents HS Life knows....

But you don't know who she is. That I won't tell.

We don't even know who you are, let alone anyone in your school. That is the good thing about fora: anonymity and freedom to talk freely without having to deal with everyone else's reactions to what was said. I also know cutters; I realize now that I even supplied the materials for one to continue her obsession (and psychiatric problem) for the whole of my freshman year.

What the crap was that?
