A&O sessions

My son has enrolled for the Fall '08 quarter and we were going to visit UW for the Parents' Orientation on July 1. When we registered for the Orientation the info on the web page rudely (or so I thought) told us not to bring any younger children along. But we are going to take our 12-year daughter anyway. Will this be a problem? Has anyone taken along younger children?

July 1st has already passed but I'm just going to say this for other parents who may be wondering. A 'young child' as interpreted by UW would be considered a toddler or an infant who is prone to constant outbursts. So taking your daughter would have been no problem. As far as young goes, I believe they're thinking the toddler-5/6 year old range.

Thanks. We did take our 12-year old daughter. Of course they did make us fork over $65.
