A problem hindered my high school performance!! Can I still get accepted into good colleges?

I said in a previous post that they are willing to pay up to $60,000 a year.

Even of they are willing to pay 60k/yr, no doubt they would prefer to pay less. Therefore, as stated earlier, it would make rational sense to focus on schools, public & private, where u are eligible for FA or merit money.

Remember that the UCs (especially Berkeley and UCLA) value high GPAs. They look at sophomore and junior grades, and so there is no point in assessing prospects until you have your junior grades and can calculate your UC-weighted GPA. If it’s under 4.0, the top tier of UCs are probably out of reach. UT-Austin is also very GPA-focused, and it is not always a great option for non-Texans, given its statutory mandate to accept the top 7% of students from every high school within the state. Once they’ve filled that quota, they still will give preference to other high-performing Texans and athletes.
