<p>I always see CC members discussing how a guidance counselor will check off a box on some form or app that will tell the colleges how rigorous your high school course load was. </p>
<p>My question is whether this applies to UC applications or is it only for specific college applications that individually call for it?..</p>
<p>I ask because from what I've seen, when you apply to the UC's online using the common application, you submit it all individually without notifying the counselor personally..It already shows in detail which classes you took that were AP/IB/Honors anyway..</p>
<p>So do guidance counselors not do this for UC apps or do they still get notified of any and every college a student applies to and then check that box off on some form? </p>
