Hey all, I will be graduating from high school in 2006 and I had a question about majors at Cornell.
If I were completely set on business (finance particularly), what exactly would I want to major in at Cornell? I have heard they have managerial econ, but which school is it in? How are the econ and International Relations programs?

The official business major, is Applied Economics and Management (AEM). There is a strong focus on finance, as many of the students in this major decide to work at banks. Wall Street recruits heavily on the Cornell campus, and this is a great program if you want to do finance. (Although banks usually do not care what your major is, as long as you are hard working, energetic, and willing to learn) It is in the college of agriculture and life sciences. Here is the website: business.aem.cornell.edu.

You can also major in economics in the arts school or hotel administration.
