<p>I recently checked my BAR account under August I have my first tuition plus other fees bill. Does UCLA bill our BAR account monthly? Like will I get another bill in September? Thanks for the help.</p>

<p>Yep you get monthly bills from BAR. Usually its $0 except during the month they bill you for tuition/fees. You’ll also get a bill at the end of the quarter for the “instructional support fees” for any classes you took that quarter. These are the fees for things like printing class handouts, etc. The instructional fees are much higher for lab classes (obviously) than for other classes. </p>
<p>Another reason you might have a non-$0 bill on off-months is if you’ve used the Ashe center and have something not covered by insurance (like prescription co-pays and whatnot).</p>
<p>So just make sure you check it once a month.</p>
