A really stupid question concerning "scholastic distinctions"

In this blog entry: MIT Admissions | Blog Entry: "Application question: scholastic and non-scholastic distinctions?"
Matt mentions Governor's School under scholastic distinctions. Does that apply to getting into Governor's School or actually going to it? I was accepted last year but turned it down for a research internship, should I list getting accepted under distinctions, or does that just look like I have nothing better to say (I mean, I don't, but I don't want to make that fact obvious haha)?
