A request!

guys, i know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but i feel like everytime i come to this forum it’s all people trying to defend their views, and of course, nobody likes being shot down, but right now it is getting really annoying. i’m not taking any sides, but we come here for information, not for heavy discussion. i’m going to AU next year, and i’m going to make of it what i can make of it. the school is different for everyone. i might like it, i might not. i think that is what all of us who are going next year should do. and if you are considering going, then i would, i like the school, but it’s not for everyone. i’m just really tired of every post turning into a debate, so please, lets just try to get along here and give facts, rather than opinions. opinions are good, but not when it leads to fights and insults.

k thanks.

excellent thought. Best of luck next year!

Great post...I agree completely. My daughter may very well see you there.

just thought i'd respond to a healthy thread ....good luck to you, crazyhazel !

right, and everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but when it becomes a heated debate and people are being a little on the "insulting side" then i don't think that's helping prospective students at all.

hi to everyone!....of course the purpose of all these threads is to impart information to the inquiring, but the information-sharing ,in some people's posts, loses all objectivity. everyone who posts has their own story, and at times their own "baggage" which can interfere with the information needed by others. many viewers of these threads come in and out, and don't see whole threads, and that further adds to the distortion of information.
and as crazyhazel has pointed out, nasty, degrading commentary has no place here, and when that happens, we all suffer.
I'd also always suggest everyone do a good job of researching schools through all the reference books out there as a solid basis to CC. good luck.
