A school for an immigrant student who wants to mingle with various types of people

I came to America 4 years ago and speak English not fluently but adequately.
In my high school, I have seen many students who hang out with only their ethnic group.
I try my best to be friend with many different people, but the atmosphere sometimes makes it hard for me to get along with other people than my ethnic group (Asian American).
So, I am deeply concerned about the atmosphere of colleges and people's attitudes in a campus.
I understand that if I try hard and put some effort to get along with different people, I would definitely be friend with other people. However, I think I should know if there are some colleges where it is difficult to be friend or hang out with people of other ethnic group.
I heard that many Asian students in colleges hang out only with themselves and I don't want that.

Please advise me about some colleges that would be a good choice for me who wants to be friend with not only Asian students but also various ethnic groups.

(I have 3.9 unweighted GPA and 2160 on SAT and Junior if this would help your suggestion).

It might seem stupid concern and question, but I would greatly appreciate your advice.
Thank You!

If you go to a school without many people of your ethnic group, you will have to interact with others.

It may be helpful for others to suggest schools if you describe some basic parameters like:

Intended or possible majors

Cost and financial aid constraints

State of residency
