For those currently in law school:

Do you regret going?

No. Law school is awesome.

Regretted it while I was studying for my con law final, but yeah it’s pretty awesome now.

Man, I loved ConLaw. Wasn’t very good at it, but loved it anyway. What was your question on the final?

Oh god that was like winter 2008… question 1 was a fact pattern on nondelegation and some other stuff… question 2 was about substantive due process… and question three asked us to compare two judges’ approaches to the law, and what’s better (one judge was Scalia… can’t remember the other).

I did better than I expected, but I realized that I never want to have anything to do with con law again. I also hated admin.

Favorite courses by far: Contracts and maybe Civil Procedure.

Nondelegation’s a fun issue… was just reading about Medellin today. Not something we studied, actually. This whole self-executing treaty bit confuses me, truthfully.

What are you doing this summer?

Pretending to be a lawyer–big firm bit. Why?

Just curious. I’ll be doing the same!

If you like learning and studying, law school is a lot of fun when you get the hang of it.

It’s being a lawyer that can be a bit of a drag.
