a Skype interview with my admission consular.

Hello
how are you guys?
the University of Rochester has a special scholarship program for Syrian students.
I have applied to this program and the dean of admission and financial aid program wants to arrange a Skype meeting with me.

what do you think ?? any advices?? I have never talked with an admission officer before. so this is my first time.
what kind of questions do you think he will ask??

if you have any suggestions ,please just post it.

best;

First of all you ask for advice, not advices which is not a correct word.

Regular admissions interviews are usually pretty casual with the interviewer asking about things you did in HS and expectations you might have for the future. What you do in your spare time. You should be relaxed and be true to yourself. But for a scholarship, the questions might be a little more formal.

Frequent questions I can think of:

Tell me about yourself
How have you contributed to you school or the community around you?
How will you use you education to improve your community?
What leadership capabilities have you demonstrated?
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
What is your favorite class? Least favorite subject?
What are your favorite/inspirational books, films, art work etc?
Tell about a time where you failed…where you participated in a group project…
What do you do when you aren’t in school?

About the college:
Why do you want to go to this college in particular?
How will attending this college align with your goals?
What would you contribute to the student body?
