A small question

So i have a year of research experience under my belt after this semester. I'm going into a cognitive psych field with a bio major in a psych minor. Decent grades (3.7) and good GRE scores. (85th percentile in math, 89th in writing)

ANYWAY my question is this

I wasn't able to get honors on my transcript (3 semesters of research required and 3.5 gpa) because i started late. I'm graduating next friday and i'm curious....because i have time.

Should I just not graduate and be a part time student, taking that one class to get honors OR should i just continue my research and not get academic credit for it, but do it turning my 'semester off' during the spring? Does the choice really matter? would one look better or worse?

It won’t matter, especially if you’re applying directly to grad school from undergrad. You’ll be applying in the fall of your senior year, so whatever’s noted on your degree (that you’ll earn in the future) won’t matter. Add in to that different schools have different requirements for honors degrees (for example, I graduated with university honors, but not college honors, because I graduated a semester early and therefore didn’t satisfy one of the requirements for college honors).

Grad schools will see your GPA, and they’ll see the research time you’ve put in. That’s what really matters.
