<p>I'll try not to make this too long, considering I've seen many profiles that span about 3 pages.</p>
<p>I'm a black female that lives in a pretty rural, town in Virginia. Live with my Mom, who is divorced. I attend public high school; it's decent, but it's definitely not one of the top schools in the state. There are just a bunch of really intelligent people in my class.
SAT- Math: 570 Verbal: 640 Writing: 640 (I'm retaking it in October after I took a prep class)
ACT- 26 (no practice, and i think the prep class will help me a lot)
GPA unweigthed: 3.6 weighted: 3.8
I took almost all of the hardest classes. By the end of this year, I will have taken 7 AP classes.
EC's:
-piano for 8 years
-violin for 4 years
-advanced ballet and tap for 13 years
-my best friend and I started our own club to help homeless animals and donate money to the local Humane Society

- selected to attend VA Girls State
- elected as a senator at VA Girls State
- participated in the International Youth Democracy Summit ( a program with Presidential classroom at UVA and Georgetown)
- 80 hours of volunteer at a local hospital
- 20 hours of volunteer work at the humane society
- had a job at a major university near where I live over the summer: worked about 130 hours
- regularly participate in all activities at my church- delivering the sermon, playing piano, plays, sunday school, scripture reading, etc.
- going to participate in a science competition (chosen 1 out of 5 students in the school)

<p>I want to major in Political Science.</p>
