Of the late, I've been doing badly in geometry. I've practiced Chapter Tests and Extra Practice from the geometry textbook but those don't seem to be helping very much, because the teacher's questions are not directly based on the book. I also tried KhanAcademy, which helps but only covered a couple of the topics.

Does anyone have any good geometry resources to recommend? Thank you so much! :)

What book are you using?

Have you tried talking to the teacher?

I have asked the teacher for any practice exercises, but she directed me to the textbook (by the way, the name of the book we’re using is Prentice Hall’s Geometry textbook.) Thank you so much for your input, however! :)

Both of my kids started shaky with geometry in the beginning. I tutored them for a short period of time to get them on the right track. They quickly got the hang of it. The older one ended up with an A+ at year end.

The nice thing about geometry is once you knew the theorems and axioms, perfected on how to do proofs then it becomes quite easy. You may want to get an older student who has done well in geometry to tutor you. Why not ask your teacher for recommendation.

Maybe go to Mu Alpha Theta (if they have this at your school) for tutoring? If not find out if there is any math tutoring in your school available, I’m sure there is something. Maybe ask your teachers for worksheets they have rather than textbooks?

Thank you so much, both of you!! By chance, we do have a student tutoring system at our school, and I think that’s the best way forward. Thanks again for the advice! I’ll keep this all in mind when I get back to school next Monday.
