<p>I heard that last year accepted students got an email stating that they should "Plan a trip to New York..." a few days before results came out. Does anyone know if this will happen again this year/has anyone gotten this ?</p>
<p>No one on here has gotten it yet, and I’m not sure if they will, but I’m guessing they will? I think last year the first one was around the 19th, which is tomorrow, so we should see soon.</p>
<p>I’d imagine it has more to do with the day of the week than the calendar date. I doubt there’s anyone in the admissions office on a Saturday ready to pull the trigger on different listservs to send out hint emails.</p>
<p>Yeah I wasn’t thinking they’d email today, just because it’s Saturday and last year it was Friday.</p>

<p>Prior to last year it was an actual mailed invitation. Depending on the school you were accepted to, the invite and date it was mailed varied. However, not all accepted students recieved those invites. D never did and she rec’d a nice merit scholarship…so even if e-mails start to arrive, they might not be sent to everyone.</p>
<p>Whoops I started a new thread on the same issue. I haven’t heard as of right now. Maybe Monday ;)</p>
