A Waste of $65

Perfect Attendance Award ftw

Okay, by not applying, your chances of getting into Harvard become 0%. Do it! Apply your heart out, haha!

lol, I'm trying to do PLME essays right now for Brown, but honestly I don't know why I want to go into the medical field so im just making stuff up. PLME is just something I can't pass up even if I'm not sure about entering the medical field. For the "how did you find out about Brown" I actually wrote a mini-essay thing lol, full of bs tho.

Dude, i'm so scared of bs. It works in English class, but the Adcoms know. it. all.

I like how NOBODY has said anything about NOT applying. This is why Harvard is soooo rich.

What's Brown's thing anyway? I never really understood it

Obviously you know I was kidding about the award thing but as for the supplements, who can answer all of them 100% honestly? People try to get into the best college they can because it's "ivy". It's a good school and you'll probably get a good job. That's a legit reason.

Yeah, but an adcom probably doesn't want to see that you're Machiavellian enough to directly say that in an application.

I was kidding. There's only a select few on here who understands sarcasm. So sad.

Dude yea i know. Everybody stretches the truth, it's become a horrible essay contest where the winner is the one who can make themselves look the best without seeming like they're trying too hard. or maybe you are just amazing, but how many people are REALLY amazing deep down inside?

or perhaps sarcasm doesn't go over so well through the emotionally charged medium that is text

i got a returned call from a stuff today.... he said something like
harvard is looking for people who are willing to reject harvard :S
then i told him, oh yea? then send me acceptance letter see what i will do
jk ....lol
guys relax harvard is not a golden gate to heaven......

gold shines everywhere

canadian you are so poetic. Too deep for me, sorry.

lol you do realize that i really don't care either way right.. i know i won't get in. haha

lol you do realize that i really don't care either way right.. i know i won't get in. haha

Okay so I have several hours left to decide this.

I mean, you can sit here and tell me to do it, because I'm the one who has the pay the money in the end (and I can't blame you if I don't get in haha), but if you were me, would you honestly apply?

I really think you should apply.

Or maybe you shouldn't. That's always a possiblity too.

Apply if you would go there upon acceptance. It's as simple as that.

Haha, goldenratiophi you summarize this conversation pretty well! Yes and maybe no. :)

littlemikey, I don't know honestly. I never really thought about Harvard. I guess besides the money, i sort of have a problem with being a prestige-who*e like others. :)

I'm sure there's plenty of people who go to Harvard for the actual education, not the prestige. If you think you like the school and have a good chanc,e then by all means apply. $65 isn't that much over the long run.

See what I love about "chance me's" is that people encourage competition. So....whether or not I thought you were qualified, I would have said don't apply, because that's one less competitor I have to worry about. If you didn't apply, thank you.

HAHA saccolicious, best answer yet
