um yea, april fools? :P

It's already 6:00 PM over here. April Fools jokes are best pulled off in the morning before people have time to wake up and think clearly.

Professor Coates in orgo had a good one though:

"One more thing, we miscalculated the mean on the last prelim [which was just passed back earlier this week]. The mean's a 78 instead of 65"

I believed him. Suddenly my 84 didn't look so good. Overly stressed, grade-conscious premed students make good targets.

hahaha, yeah i guess ppl are awake...i was hoping for more of a response...bummer. my spanish teacher started talking about some huge project and he never makes any sense and we heard him say "bvoeuvpwinvwpironvpwovnwpirvnouwvr...viente pajinas...snvosnvfpwibvrpwivbwrpg"
translation: "sofubvosubvowuivpwivpwipniw...twenty pages...skhyvbwouevbwobalinvkshbvywboub"

april fools, yea he got us

Well hopefully he said "veinte paginas" not "viente pajinas" :)

On a Spanish essay at Cornell, that would be -2%. Not many people get above 90% on 2-page essays.

oh that d*&^ ie ei stuff, i dont even get it right in english haha

i can see professor coates being a really cute old guy (like walcott) who is a great teacher (yeah, gotta love nylon ^_^) one day.

which lecture do you go to norcal?

professor turgeon (the bio 102 prof) made a lot of jokes today about fungi too...and he said he was going to ask a question on the recipe for duxelles on our next exam ^_^

gotta love them.

"Which lecture do you go to norcal"

I'm signed up for the 10:00 one. I go to the 10:00 lecture around 60% of the time. I always aim to go to the 9:00 one (less crowded) plus I can actually find and sit near friends but sometimes I just can't force myself to get up.

argh, you are so lucky, my early classes start at 8:40 and 9:05. thankfully, next semester, it will start at 11:15 or later. yay!!

i didn't fall for his joke because i'd already played a few april fools joke that morning...plus the constant fact that all the kids i played with today kept trying to "april fool" me definitely helped. "you have a cat on your head" "april fool!" ahh...those bittersweet days of carefree childhood.
