Aap interview help!

Hi guys! I will have my AAP interview from an alumni in early JANUARY and I NEED HELP!!!
I'm currently working very hard on my portfolio to try to finish it (or get as much done as possible) to take to my interview.
Anyone here has the experience (AAP preferrably? or any Cornell interviews please!!)?
Like what questions will be asked? Should I look anything up beforehand or prepare myself to answe any particular kind of question? Please please please this is my first college interview ever and I'm applying as a transfer from a community college.
Any information would be helpful!!! Thanks!

whoa a portfolio?
you need one of those at the interview
??!?!?!?!

hey im in AAP now

BRING A COMPLETE FINISHED PORTFOLIO! it will look really bad if your portfolio is incomplete or looks rushed, and the portfolio is one of the main deciding factors for admission

there really is no way to prepare yourself...just make sure you are passionate about what you are intending to study here and know abotu that field and famous works

aegis: i was asked to bring my portfolio (in progress/finished) by the alumni that is going to interview me when i contacted him. but i guess no matter what, bringing something in to show them would make u seem more like u know what you're doing :)

hey thanks for reply ambasador!
just two questions....did you get your portfolio professionally printed for your interview?
and do they ask questions about the field and famous works? is it just like some knowledge which would come in handy? or will i be asked to name some favorite architects/works?

i brought originals, but it's your choice. you can always ask the alum what he/she prefers to see

and knowing about your major will always come in handy. plus, its a good thing to know about the field you are intending on getting into
