I can't seem to get a straight answer from the FAQs and Help Center, or a Google Search. Can you submit different versions of Common App without causing errors to your account? I have an October 15th deadline for one school but am taking the September 21st ACT With Writing; I have to submit my CA for that one school by the 15th, but I want to wait to submit my CA for the other schools so I can add my ACT score when the writing score becomes available. Can I submit the CA without the ACT score to the one school, and then submit a version with the ACT score to all of my other schools? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Yes, this should be no problem at all. The common app knowledgebase seems quite clear on this topic:

You can submit an unlimited number different versions of the Common App if you change it after submitting it to each university.

However, it is only possible to submit up to 3 different versions of the core essay. I don’t know how this works in pratcice though.

Thanks! I just want to be absolutely sure because I don’t want to mess up my apps.
