where on that site does it tell you the status on your financial aid (the things they have and haven't received)? i can't find it...

I logged in fine.

Yea Im confused because the collegeboard site says we should find out from GW on march 15, but their site says late march, early april.

hmm i hope college board is right, i really want to find out soon!

Check out the old GW forums. Seems like last year(2004) they heard in early April. Good Luck!

What kind of results are other people getting from ban web? If yes, what school and any programs did you apply to?

under financial aid requirements i have everything satisfied. even "You must be admitted to a degree granting program" is satisfied...

hey, i asked them about decision dates and this is what they wrote back:
" We plan to mail our admissions decisions the last week of this month.
You will receive notification, via mail, then.
In the meantime, don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further
questions."

Uhhh...I just logged in to mine and while there are some items under unsatisfied, the "admitted to a degree-granting program" is listed under satisfied. Does this mean I've been admitted? Maybe I should drop GW an e-mail...

Update: I checked under "Award by Aid Year," and it has listed a pretty large "Presidential Academic Scholarship" (18k+). What does this mean?

Ahhh! I had no idea this website existed, and now I'm not sure whether or not this info is correct. Anyone else seeing anything like this?

I checked the Award by Aid Year and got $15,000 marked as "offered". I'm confused about stuff on that site. I guess I'm not going to worry about any of it and wait until I get actual mailed information on everything.

hmmm i have "admitted to a degree granting program" under satisfied requirements as well...

& under my "award history" it says Presidential Academic Scholarship Offered for $18,200 for the 2005-2006 school year.

Ahhh, what do you think this means?!

For people who have received award information, can I ask when your midterm reports were mailed.

I called GWU to make sure my midterm reports had been received, they were only recieved on March 1, and she told me my app was under review.

On the website, I still have admission to program as an unsatisfied requirement, so I can only hope that they are reviewing my app and did not reject me.

It seems that most colleges wait for your midyear before they even do a review of app. I always thought they did a preliminary review.

This school is a match for me so I can only hope everything is ok
1300, SAT
Top 5 percent of class of 500 students
Good ECs
Many aps and honors
Excellent midyear report

Though, it seems to me that if you have been rewarded money, you are definentely going to get an acceptance letter.

ajrhkejlhkdfh! i forgot what i set my pin # to, and then i tried the wrong thing too many times and now i can't login!!!

don't worry; that website is useless

but people said it shows their financial aid rewards!

Why do you think it's useless?

It looks pretty legit to me (at least I hope so!).

Well.... It says under statisfied "must be admitted to a degree granting program", which I think might mean I'm in. However, it doesn't list any type of aid awards/scholarships which worries me.

hmm why do you say its useless? why would it say a reward if it wasn't being given?

since each of us has different amounts of aid listed (if any) and also some people don't have the "admitted to a program" thing under their satisfied list (which could just mean your app. is under review still so i wouldn't worry) then i can't see why it wouldn't be legit and mean that we're in. i'm sure they have just about decided and will be sending out letters next week so they would probably get to putting the info online first. i hope so anyway.
