did anyone who applied to SMPA have "admitted to a program" under the completed?

Mine says that admitted to a degree program thing under my satisfied requirements. (:-D), but i dont have anything listed under awards. I think/hope that might be because they dont have a whole bunch of my other requirements. I dont see why the admitted to a degree program thing would move to a satisfied requirement if the person wasnt let in. Especially since I still have stuff in the unfullfilled requirements section.

Well...if this is true, it's a lot more anticlimatic than I had anticipated. I want to congrat those who it appears have been admitted, but I don't want to jinx it. :)

Regardless, letters will be here in a week or two...

i can't log in....

I have the presidential scholarship in mine -- $18,200.

what exactly can you guys see when you log in to banweb? i couldn't login a few days ago, but now i can and it lets me access everything from "register/drop classes" to "housing selection and information" to my "financial award history." this is encouraging, though i'm trying not to get my hopes up...

Where do you log in to GWU I can't find anywhere on their site, can someone tell me please.

banweb.gwu.edu the ID is your SS# and the pin should be your birthdate (for example: 031787 for march 17, 1987). i was unable to login last week, but this morning i could, so don't fret if you can't yet...they may be putting them up over a few days (note: it does not say anywhere that i was admitted, and i have received no notification)...or it may just be a glitch...i dunno...

Of the people who have been "admitted" on banweb, when did your high school send your midyear report?

I have not been admitted but my high school sent it very late, and the admissions office even told me last friday that my app was under review. I can only hope, considering this school is a good match for me and I have pretty good stats

according to banweb.gwu.edu I was accepted and got a Presidental scholarship for half tuition. The scholarship was just added today, because I checked yesterday and nothing was listed.
yay

ok I have the admitted to a degree granting program thing under satisfied as well. do you guys honestly think that's what it means?

since some people don't have it under "satisfied" i can't see what else it would mean. also people have varying amounts under awards and some people don't have anything under awards so i really think it means we've been admitted. i think my stats are good enough for acceptance. i guess the best we can do is not to get our hopes up too much and just to wait for our decision letters!

I don't have an award listed, but I still have unsatisfied requirements (w-2 forms and whatnot)...I wasn't even aware we had to send those...
What do I do with that stuff? Photocopy and send it to the aid office?

For those who were accepted, when did you send your midyear reports?

Please reply

Also, keep in mind that GWU is still looking at applications. They said they were reviewing mine, so the process is definentely not over

Mine also lists a Presidential Scholarship for $18,200 per year. Not sure I'm going to GW, but this is good!

kiki did you apply for the honors program?

dantrek...my midyear report was sent quite a while ago, probably in january.

it seems that several people have $18,200 under awards, seems kind of strange. are we all that great or is there some sort of glitch? does anyone have an amount other than 18,200? maybe somebody should e-mail gw...

Yes, I did apply for the honors program. Constellation, I don't think it's that unusual seeing as that amount is basically half tuition.

where else are you thinking about going if not gw?

Perhaps NYU, Barnard, Boston U, Tufts, Georgetown, etc. All depends on if I get into those places.
