About dorm.

is the "little book" you're talking about The Record? - the one where you have to pay 20 bucks to get a book with all the incoming freshman info in it? (because i don't feel like wasting 20 bucks)

hm....i was going to pay 25 for the hardcopy....but now i think i'll pay 20... It felt sort of like a keepsake to me. Like a yearbook. ppl may look through it in secret, to point out cute boys at sleepovers and such. >:)

Melo I didn't get Kiterunner yet.

Melo, accept me on facebook!!!

Yes, papersignals; they call it a "tradition" but fewer than 50% of students actually have themselves listed, it seems

which dorms do freshmen usually stay in?

I GOT KITERUNNER!!! im sorry. im excited. i like hearing from cuse. its kinda big tho......kinda. its the same size as the softcover of harry potter and the sorcerers stone for all my potheads (harry potter fans).

and faleene i accepted you. youre such a cutie.

Freshmen: Haven, Day, Sadler, Brewster-Boland, Lawrinson, Flint...they come to mind (Dellplain and Booth too, I think - though to a smaller extent). There are no "freshman dorms", but the housing assignment system means that the longer you live in university housing, the better pick you get, and so the best dorms will fill up first, therefore locking freshmen out.

damn. anarchy youre a great resource. a pale, angry little guy but a great resource. i must thank you for all your help when get there.

hahaha a "pale, angry little guy" hahahahahhaha. How do you know he's little? And I thank you now for your help, Anarchy, cause if I met you irl I'd probably be just another freshman burden. :p I'll leave that to one of those ppl who volunteer to be mentors.

Heheh - at 5'10 and 170lb, I'm tiny compared to the athletes (you WILL know who is and isn't an athlete - they tower over you and look like dump trucks (not very bright either)). Angry - you betcha :p

I rather enjoy teaching people (e.g. conveying information), I just don't have patience for people who don't care. I will be helping freshmen move into either Sadler or Brewster Boland on May 23rd as part of Goon Squad, tho I'm only doing that so I can get away from home as soon as possible :-)

As much of an ******* as I seem, if you guys ever need help around campus wondering where to go, whats good to do, or how to get through to the administration, I'd be more than glad to help out. You guys will eventually form your own opinion as to whether Syracuse is as good as it's made out to be ;-)

haha well, you're not tiny compared to Japanese men!! :D (Yaaay japanese men!!) And, guess what! Yes, that's right, I'm in need of assistance (my advisor telephones tomorrow hahah! I haven't even taken my Spanish test yet, I'm such a procrastinator.). If you'll just wander over to that three page thread on classes I created, I just posted a bunch of questions, in which I forgot to include some of the following (which are the most important): Is the bio sequence hard? Can GOL 200 (which replaces a course from the general Natural Sci and Math list due to AP Enviro Sci) replace a GOL course in a sequence, so that I can just take the other LAB course and have a seuence fulfilled? (That would be splendid!) And can sequences be split into separate years, like Spring'07 Fall '07? Do we get to choose our professors? (And do honors students get first pick of professors for the fall? They get first registration starting in the second semester, u see, but i dont know about teachers.) Do you reccomend Religions of the world regular or honors? (And I mentioned this in the other thread but, does Cooke teach International Relations honors as well?) Thanks, Anarchy!! Btw, what's your name? Can I add you to facebook?

idk. i just figured he was tiny. but hes 5'10 so hes taller than me. and 170 so hes not as scrawly as i thought he would be. but yea anarchy i plan on moving in the 23rd so ill let u kno if youll be helping me.
