About ED Form

The question they ask which is probly like 1-2 sentences anyway- what exactly are they looking for- cause one thing is certain is that it is not a clique answer- my friend told me they want something really creative/witty about u. I dont wanna risk it tho and make something too funky or else they might interpret the form the wrong way. Any opinions/ideas?

i just told them that I didnt feel like waiting 4 months to get a reply from my number1 choice school. makes sense to me =P

Answer the question. It's straight forward. Don't read so much into it :)

lol no way u said that

I think that those "Why ED?" essays for any school shoudl give very specific reasons why that school is your first-choice and why you feel you'd flourish there more than any other school you could apply to. Don't give general reasons -- if you're applying ED to Tufts, you should have specific reasons to justify that decision.

I don't remember any "Why ED?" question. There was a "Why Tufts?" question. Is that what you mean?

Yeah I meant that a Why Tufts essay for an ED application is basically a Why Tufts ED question.

im so lost- i dont think ill ever be able to fill that ED form out lol. I thought i answered this in the supplement AHH

To clarify, for RD applicants there is a 50 word "Why Tufts?" essay. For ED I and ED II applicants, there is a 50 word "Why Tufts?" essay AND a little space on the ED agreement form ("I'm signing my soul to your school" form) that asks why you are applying ED.

Whooops. You are correct, Mollyllom. I just looked at the ED form and it does ask "Why ED?" I think I can definitively say that the way you answer isn't that important, and that it is, in fact, possible to be accepted ED without even answering the question (though I don't recommend it).
