Just curious =P

In US, if you get like over 93 or w/e, you get an A, and thats like a perfect mark, right (in terms of GPA)? Does that mean that it doesn't really matter at all whether you get 100% or 93% in a class? Cuz thats a big difference, and in Canada, we actually use the percentage system rather than GPA.

So.........like for an example...

There is one student, who got like 93% in all his courses, so he has like a 4.0 GPA. But then there is another student, who got 100% in all his courses but one, which made his GPA like 3.9 or w/e. Then the student with 4.0 GPA has a higher ranking than the other one, although his actual marks in almost all of his classes were a lot lower than the other one? If that is true, the system really doesn't make sense to me at all =P=P
