? about Housing Fee

Hi everyone!

I have been accepted to FSU starting in the fall of 2008 and have completed the housing form. I had a question about the $225 fee: FSU is my second choice after UF, so if I got into UF would that $225 FSU housing fee go to waste? Of course I will pay the money anyway, but if that's the case it's kind of annoying! :-S

Congratulations Amanda! Good luck on UF, but I hope you stick with FSU.

As for the housing fee - we were told last year that it is non-refundable, but here is a site to check it out:
Florida State University Housing

Good Luck and GO NOLES!

All but $50 of the housing fee is refundable as long as you tell them in writing before May 1st that you are not attending FSU.

Read the terms and conditions of the housing contract.

Thanks! =) I skimmed the housing contract but didn't see that [perhaps because it was late at night, lol], but thanks for pointing it out!
